WJT Series Cooling Towers Structure

Natural draught jet type cooling tower works on water jet principal. In this system the required amount of water to be cooled is sprayed from top of the cooling tower through special jet nozzles. When water comes out of nozzles, it forces the air column in the downward direction of the cooling tower resulting in the low pressure zone inside of the cooling tower. Due to this process atmospheric air comes inside the cooling tower for the required heat transfer of the hot water to be cooled.

Spares and Components of WJT Series Cooling Towers:

Water Distribution Pipes

Non-corrosive PVC/FRP piping is used for distributing water to the jet nozzles efficiently. These pipes are designed for low pressure drop and durability.

Inlet Louvers

Plastic or FRP inlet mesh prevents dust, leaves, and other contaminants from entering the cooling tower, ensuring clean operation and reducing clogging.

Fasteners & Clamps

Galvanized or stainless-steel fasteners, clamps, and supports are used for securing internal components and ensuring structural integrity.

Collection Basin / Sump

FRP basin collects cooled water and ensures leak-proof storage before recirculation.

Make-up Valve / Float Valve

Used to maintain water level automatically in the cooling tower basin by regulating make-up water supply.

Support Structure Components

Galvanized steel supports, brackets, and frames ensure stability and proper alignment of all tower components.
